Flight 42 was on its way, when it comes across a weird electromagnetic storm. Realizing they must go through, they find themselves in France, 1940, [[World War II]]. A history professor tells them they are in the middle of a war zone. Dodging bullets and bombs the flight will attempt to make it back to modern day, without changing history too much. Had I known this was an Asylum product, I would not have given it my time,I find their disregard for reality (laws of physics anyone?) too chafing. This story had something going for it though. The script writers have cleverly nipped criticism of historical inaccuracies in the bud by revealing that the story largely unfolds in a parallel universe with an alternative history.

The weakness of this flick lies therefore mostly in the rather uneven acting performances of the supporting cast and in some poor story elements aboard the aircraft. Still, it is not a total wreck.

What I do have an issue with are the obviously planted reviews unashamedly praising this filma masterpiece. There is already too much disinformation on the netit is. Actually quite good movie but "Based on True Events" in 1940? that the thing bothers me more than anything else in the entire movie is. After Flight 42 travels through a storm they find themselves in France, 1940, during World war II. This is maybe one of the worst films I've ever seen when it comes to reality.

Messerschmit Me 262 "Swallow" in 1940? grin emoticon Invasion in full swing in 1940 according to 2 historians on board? grin emoticon How long can last normal airliner in combat with 30mm cannons of Me 262? grin emoticon I really enjoyed this sci-fi wink emoticon I don't know why.. The Flight 42 Pilot really remind me to MH370 pilot Cpt Zaharie Ahmad Shah, Great Pilot Attitude. Give this man a Medal.
